Hello Den Pals! It's been awhile since our site has been updated. Have fun enjoying the incredible miniature teddy bear world of S.M.A.L.L. It's time to update you on some of the latest happenings....... We have an email group topping 400+ members now, sharing creativity, trouble-shooting, inspiring one another, and making miniature teddy bear friends around the world....the fun continues daily, with members from England, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, South America, Canada, USA, and many more lurking!

We've began new chat sessions on the official website at yahoo groups and it is proving to be a marvelous success. It gives us a chance to get to know each other better, and we learn so much! Please check our email postings to see the latest subject matter and time schedule for chatting! You are sure to be inspired by the many qualified and talented artists and hobbyists in our group.
I am thrilled to announce that I am in the busy stages of finishing up my *NEW BOOK* in the Miniature Teddybear Workshop Series: Book One: Making Magnificent Miniature Teddy Bears. It's filled with more then 25 of my original designs from 1/2" tall to 4" tall. Included are many UNIQUE projects from a Jester bear neckpurse to a Roly Poly teapot....Raggedy bears to Pooh & his pal! Check out a SNEAK PEEK :

Pattie the "Angel", our "Swap Mistress" continues to inspire us with creative projects and swaps from hatpin bears to chatelaine bears.....bottle bears to tassel bears. Who knows what she will come up with next? If you have any ideas send them to Pattie through the member list at yahoogroups.
Our co-moderator EXTRAORDINAIRE Druanna has been keeping our membership and our SMALL files and navigations in perfect order with her putter-savvy ways! Thanks so much for all of your selfless devotion to the happiness and well being of our special group of friends, Druanna!

Denise Ilmanen has set up a special file at our homebase at yahoogroups.com and we are now able to show off our bears or items for sale. I'm not sure how much space we have there, so it will be a hit and miss experience to begin with. Most likely we will have to rotate the uploaded files on a weekly basis as we do for the photo files. Thanks so much Denise for the idea, and for your help in putting it all together!

I can feel the Tea Party fever beginning to strike.....Now that I am settled in from my move across country.....How many of our West Coast members would be interested in getting together for a one-day miniature teddy bear SMALL TEA PARTY EXTRAVAGANZA??? I have BIG plans for a day-long workshop and EXQUISITE GOURMET LUNCHEON! The cost is unknown, but would include the workshop and all supplies plus goodies and of course a luncheon like you have never experienced!

S.M.A.L.L. logo pins and charms are now available!!! The collectible quality pins and charms can be worn on a lapel, shirt, hat, or charm earrings! It shows our mascot bear in carmel brown holding two small bears in lighter shades of tan and gold. Pins are 1-1/2" diam. $5.00 (US funds). Charms are 1/2" diam. $4.00 (US funds). (Postage: $1.00 US/Canada **$3.00 other International Postage). Items may be combined to save postage cost. I will be posting photos on the website as soon as possible!
