My genealogy research is on the decedents and ancestors of Jacob Stauffer who was born in 1765 in Place not known. Was united in marriage to Elizabeth __________. The house that Jacob built in 1806 is still sanding and bears his initials, which was accustom in the earlier days, to have the initials of the owner, and the year A. D. in which built. He lived in Earl Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa. about three miles north of New Holland. His occupation was farming, and his son David lived at this same place after his marriage. The farm consisted of 76 acres. David afterwards built a stone house and bank barn on the same farm, but one fourth mile east of the other buildings. He had two sons and one daughter that is known of:

NEW:
It is now believed that Jacob was born perhaps circa 1740 and died shortly before November 10,1820. He married Elizabeth Witwer, as evidenced by Lancaster Co., deed of April 13, 1811 (Vol. 18, P.416) and had (2) sons and (7) daughters.

The information here is "probably true". This is a condensed version of my family history. Additional information is available on some of the persons and or families listed. You will see the word "Living" next to some of the people listed, their personal information, notes and stories have been edited out in respect to their privacy. Every effort was made to make this as correct and accurate as possible. However in some respects the work is incomplete, owing to the failure of a few of the connections to respond by sending in the requested information and data. Anyone wishing to be removed from this site, or that have any corrections or additions to be added, please contact me at E-Mail address provided. I would like to thank the family and friends for the interest they have shown in this genealogy.
