Greetings!

Thanks for stopping by my website. Someday soon I hope to make it popup-free, but for now, thanks for putting up with all the obnoxious ads.

Take a look around and let me know what you think - just keep in mind that this is indefinitely under construction, as I'm currently in school and working full time, plus being as active a member of Shalloboi as possible. I still am managing to find time to knit (it's all about prioritizing I guess!), so if you have a special request, shoot me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do (honeybee21 at juno dot com).

This summer was pretty productive, as I was unemployed for most of the time. I made a bevy of hats to sell, though I haven't had to time to actually do so, and I also knitted up several gifts and one scarf commissioned by my friend Karin. I've been way too lax on updating photos of all these things, but hopefully over one of the upcoming holiday breaks I can get caught up.

While we were on tour this summer, I managed to make it to a few yarn shops (one in St. Paul, one in Austin, and one in Great Barington, Massachusetts. I would have checked out the one on Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, but it was closed for their vacation or something). Plus I made a few stops in at the Yarn Barn in Lawrence, KS, which is one of my favorites.

Since relocating to Chicago this August, I have only been to one yarn shop - the only one what is remotely near my neighborhood. It's in Wicker Park, and a little too chi-chi for me, though the second time I stopped in they were a bit more welcoming. There is a serious lack of yarn shops in my area, and I have resorted to ordering all my yarn online lately - details which I'm sure you all find thrilling.

I love school, but I do keep thinking of the day (a little more than a year from now) when I will have much more time with which to pursue all the projects I have going on at the moment with a little more energy and time (knitting, the band, our apparent record label, and exploring my new profession).

XO

Stefanie

P.S. We survived the wedding - here is the quintessential Tyler & Stefanie photo, as taken by Dmitriy:
