Hills:

Nothing too extreme, but you constantly are going up and down. Very ridable, but no time for resting.  Enjoy the decents, you will be going back up soon.

Terrain:

Mostly clay dirt with some standard southern Missouri rocks.

Scenery:

Not much better than the southwest creek section in spring

Lots of wildlife, avoid during hunting season.

Look for wild animals.  Beware of large trees.

Other:

Worth the long car ride.

Take a topographic map with you!  Take a short cut on gravel road if necessary.

Carry Water.

Wear a helmet!

Carry Water!

Carry Tires.

Carry Water!!!

Extra Tubes.

Did I mention to Carry Water?

Mileage:

Loop Trail - 24 miles

Estimate how long it should take you, then double it (3 hr = 6 hrs).

With a map you can make the trip shorter or longer if desired.
