Raye was the third scout to be discovered by Luna. She and her grandfather run a temple on Cherry Lane, where she keeps her two pet crows. She can be really bossy and rude to Serena sometimes. However, she is well liked and respected by her classmates at the private school she attends. She is quite a talented singer and songwriter, and dates quite often, unlike Serena who can only attract Melvin, the school nerd. Raye even dated Darien before Serena did.

As a priestess, Raye can charge paper with anti-evil energy and fire them at the enemy. She can also see into the future and sense horrible things to come. Sailor Mars is the senshi of fire, and her attacks are quite devastating to her opponent.
