Thank  God  for dirty dishes


They have a tale to tell

While other folk are hungry


We've eaten rather well


Thank God for dirty floors


Their testimony proves


We've healthy legs and feet


To fill our dirty shoes


And while I'm on the subject


I must confess it's true


While other folk have few


We've plenty and plenty of very little


Dirty clothes to do.
