This section is on movie reviews. Since I go to the movies at least once a week, I thought you should know what I think of the movies.

Week of Oct. 3- Oct. 10, 1998

Urban Lengend

(cast: Alicia Witt, Rebbeca Gayheart, Jared Leto and Joshua Jackson)

This was the second time I saw it. The first time I loved it. I like the ending and it was a farly scary movie. This will become the next IKWYDLS and Scream. The plot is a serial killer is killing people by Urban Lengends. The second time I saw it I did not get bored in the theater, but was into it. I enjoyed it a great deal. I Suggest GO SEE IT!!!

Clay Pigeons

This is a GOOD movie. I laughed so hard at Clays dilemas. It was about Clay who meets Lester and he will do anything to help him. Even kill. But that was his excuse. Lester had killed before but was using there friendship as an excuse to kill. Janene Garafolo plays the FBI agent looking for Lester and James Caan plays the town sheriff. The town Deputy was a ROIT!! His name was Barney (!) and acted like the Barney on the Andy Griffith show. Vince Vaughn gave another A+ perfomace as Lester.(That is why he is one of my favorite actors.) If you have a chance to go see this, DO!

Bride of Chucky

Not at all good. It was funny not scary. I am not wasting my time reviewing.

Week of Oct. 25-31
Apt Pupil

Great movie. About a nazi leader who is hiding from the the Israelian army in fear of jail (which he is a fugitive). A kid wants to learn about "everything that they are afraid to teach us at school" he puts it. And at the end he is becoming very screwed up with the storys. Very emotional.

Vampires

(cast: James Woods, Daniel Baldwin)
Pretty good, but lacked freakiness. James Woods is a vampirte hunter and he meets the master vampire and he kills his whole team and he wants to kill the vamp. before he completes a cermony where the master vamp. would be able to walk in the day. Pretty fun to watch.

The Water Boy

I am sure you all know what it is about, so I thought It was hilaroius. I loved it.

Week of Nov. 8- Nov. 14
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

Pretty good. Not as good as the first. Lacked the guilt and torture of the first. They go to the bahama on a secluded island where the fisherman comes looking for Julie and kill the people on the island.

Very Bad Things

Very dark comedy. Hard to explain the plot but I was laughing the whole time.

Enemy of the State

Great tech. movie on a man who has no idea what is going on and the goverment tryibg to get him while will smith trys to figure out what is going on. Very good. I enjoyed every minute.

Week of Nov. 29- Dec. 5
American History X

This is one of the best movies I have seen in 2 or 3 years. I loved it. It is about a nazi skinhead who has a sudden change of heart while in prision for killing 3 people. He comes out and finds his brother in the gang. So he trys to get him out. I loved it. It is VERY EMOTIONAL. Very well made and Edward Norton gave and A+ performance. GO SEE IT!!!!

Psycho

(cast: Vince Vaugh, Anne Heche, Julianne Moore)
The updated version of the classic horror flick. Very good. A few things annoyed me. But a few things made me jump. It was suspensful and freaky. The shower scene is freaky. Not as good as the orignial but I liked it very much. Also Vince Vaughn did a good job inpersonating Anthony Perkins.

Great sci-fi horror movie. About aliens taking over the teachers and eventualy the town and 6 outcast try to stop it. I loved it. By the writer of scream and IKWYDLS, and director Of desporado and From Dusk till Dawn,I suggest you see this to get scared and to have a good time.

Week of Jan 1- Jan 15
Varsity Blues
4 1/2 out of 5
(cast:James Van Der Beek, John Voight)
Great Movie. About a football team that has a chance of winning state and the coach doesn't care about a thing except winning. When the all state quarter back hurts his kne Moxon (van der beek) comes in and goes all star. It is just a story of teens dealing with problems and having a good time.

Week of Jan 17-25

The Thin Red Line

(cast: Sean Penn, Nick Nolte)
Good WWII movie. The movie took place at a battle in the war and it just showed the many different dilemas of each of the characters but followed on character specifcally. A very simbolic movie. I liked it a lot. (*note it was 3 hours long!)

I loved this. I laughed hard. The plot was 4 guys living in La and discussing htere problems and trying to deal with them. I liked this I laughed hard and a lot. I recommend it.

A Simple Plan

I loved this. Dir. Sam Raimi out did himself. He made a wonderful movie on 3 guys finding 4 mill. in a crashed plan and they keep in and they are going to sit on the money for a while. Eventually the greed gets to them and they all want the money and they will do anything to have it even Kill. This movie was very well made. GO SEE IT!!

Jan. 26- Feb. 27

JawBreaker

(cast:Rose McGowan, Julie Benz, Rebecca Gayheart, and Marilyn Manson)

This was a great movie. Its about 3 friends kidnap there friend on her birthday and they put a jawbreaker in her mouth as a prank. There friend that got kidnapped choked and died in the truck of the car. So the 3 friends try to cover it up. It is a dark comedy but it is truly funny. I recommend it.

Office Space

(cast: Ron Livenston and Jennifer Aniston)

It is about a man who gets hypontized and also gets sick of his job and rebells. It is pretty funny. I liked it a lot and I laughed. SO it is pretty good.

This movie was excellent. It is about a man, (nic cage) who is hired by a women to investigate a murder on a film to see if it is real or fake and if the girl on the film is alive. IT leads him down in a world of 'snuff'. Some scenes disgusted me and no one under the age of 15 should see it due to the content in it. But I HIGHLY recommend it.

Cruel Intentions

This was awsome. It was about a boy and a girl bet that the boy can seduce a girl. Then it he falls for this girl. IT all goes insane when jealousy comes in play. I highly recommend it. So go see it.

The Corruptor

This was a cool action filck. It was a about a new cop gets teamed with a veteran and they have to work together to stop a gang in Chinatown. This was a fun move to watch. I recommend it
