Marks MAC-D Rack/Chase Harper Saddlebag Review
These are the Chase Harper "Compac" saddlebags. I'm not sure how they got that name. They seem kinda big to me. They have extra detachable little bags that go on the front of them. And the extra compartment on the sides, make these bags wide.
The straps were not long enough to hang right on the Mac-d rack. But I happened to have some straps from an old pair of saddlebags that I used to extend their reach. Now they fit perfect with the rack.
You can see the extra straps I had to use to make these work.
I dont know if you can see it, but the tank panners and saddlebags have reflective stripes on them!
These bags have a hard plastic shell inside of the main compartment, and along the bottom of the backs of the bags.
The rack will hold anything I can stuff in these bags. And these bags fit the rack great after I made longer straps. The rain covers are optional with these bags, but will help keep the rain and dust off the bags, and can be thrown in the washing machine.
