Thank you for inquiring about my KLR valve video.
I've only just completed it as of 8/2/01.
First off, the video tape looks better than the jpg's on the web page.
Why I did this?
Soon after I purchased my KLR I learned one of the most intimidating and important things you need to do with the bike is check the valve clearances. My bike was overdue for the check up but the dealer couldn't get me an appointment for over a month. The riding season in New England is short enough and I was lov'n riding the bike.

John B. from the KLR list rode over an hour to my home to walk me through the process. I thought "this really needs a video, what a great way to give back to an activity that has given me so much". I also decided that rather than profit from the motorcycling community, I could actually give back to it by keeping the cost low. This was also a way I could make a contribution to an important charity for me, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The dedication at the end of the video is to a former girlfriend of mine who passed away from the disease, she was only 35.

Content:
The program covers everything from seat & side panel removal to changing out shims. I go over the tools, supplies and techniques necessary for the project. I did have to put a quick disclaimer in the video. I stress this is only a DEMONSTRATION of proceedure I've developed and use. It's up to the descretion of the viewer to evaluate if the method is valid. I've sent the video out and asked some experts to review it for accuracy and overall quality. I'll soon be posting the comments as they come in.

Guarantee:
If you don't like the tape for ANY reason, you get your money back minus my tape stock and shipping costs. Please let me know why the tape didn't meet your expectations. You don't even have to send the tape back, keep it, record over it, throw it away, whatever.

If you'd like to order a tape, I'd prefer you'd send the money first however I will bill you if you prefer. 24.00 includes shipping to anywhere in the continental United States. This is based on the motorcycling code of honor, you just don't steal from other motorcyclists.

To place an order, send an email to: phantomrider3@aol.com and you'll recieve information where to send the money to. Please include your shipping address and any additional inforation.

Thanks for your interst
Jay
