1. Combat status
a. in town: weapons and stance optional.
b. outside of town: weapons out and stance defensive.
c. in operational area: at readiness, kill all unclaimed critters at your discretion,(mind your etiquette,use your normal hunting judgement).
2. Movement to Contact
a.receive orders.
b.planning.
c.issue and receive equipment needed.
d.receive last orders and make a final plan.
e.send out recon team and begin unit movement.
f.link with recon team prior to arrival at operations area and receive recon's report.
g.final instructions and movement into operations area and complete objectives.
h.return to base.
3. In barracks procedures
a.at arrival of commander,regiment will be called to attention.(commands...."Regiment."....."Attention!"::you snap to attention at the command of 'attention!'::)
b.in file sequence,file-leaders will then(command....."Green file,Present."......."Arms!"::you salute commander at the command of 'Arms!'::)
c.commander will ask for the report.(command....."Report!"::file leaders will then give file status as follows,"green file, all present and accounted for"........"red file, one soldier missing,all present and accounted for"....

That is the basic way the regiment will meet first thing at training time.
Scouting procedure.
a.receive order for area to scout.
b.receive order for area to link up with regiment.
c.gather soldiers under your command.
d.head out and recon area, make sure all members of your command are and always stay in defensive stance while on a scouting mission.Absolutely no swinging until a report has been given to the communications officer with the regiment.
e.gather information useful to the command,(ie.critter names,critter AS,critter numbers, or anything out of the ordinary,etc.)
f.get to link point and wait for regiment.
g.rejoin regiment and report to commander.

Basically , once outside of town, you should be in stance defensive up until we reach the operational area. Then be ready to switch to offensive or however you fight and kill any unclaimed critters.The regiment will be notified and you should know already when the regiment reaches the operational area. No swinging prior to reaching the operational area at anytime unless extreme circumstances require otherwise.
Basic combat guidelines.
Once in operational area. Attack at own discretion any unclaimed critters. During invasion,, any room with invasion critters is considered fair game,(unless!.. its one critter versus one character,or similar odds. In which case the regiment will move on. Just remember to follow your basic hunting procedures that you normally do everyday and you should be fine.
