Recently there has arisen
a group who has launched attacks upon the King James Version of the Bible.
They have attacked those who defend and use this great and honorable
translation and have placed them in the catagory of those who follow Peter
Ruckman's beliefs that the King James Version is an inspired translation.
Though we have tried to make them understand that we are not part
of that group, our pleas have fallen on deaf ears. With little or
no regard to our beliefs on the subject these have labled us as part of
what they call "The KJV-Only Cult."
The purpose of this website
is to provide material showing that the KJV is an accurate, honorable and
great translation of the Bible. We also want to show that while it is what
we have previously stated, it is a man-made translation. There was
no direct operation of the Holy Spirit upon those translators which protected
them from any kinds of error. There are some errors in the King James
Version, but the errors are less crucial than the ones found in more liberal
translations such as the NIV, the RSV, the NAB, the NRSV, etc.,. The
errors in those versions will cause people to be eternally lost while the
errors in the KJV are not likely to have that effect on people. We
will also look at errors in these and other versions. We will have
articles on the inspiration of the Bible and even have some debates on
this and other subjects. It is my hope that you will find truth on
this website. Our position on the KJV is open to debate by anyone
who wants to find fault with it.
