OF THE "BROOM CLOSET"
I am a fourteen year old witch, within the last year
i have come out of the "broom closet", by doing that
my life changed in many ways. My friends, my true friends,
were fine about it and even took it upon them selfs to
learn more about it. The people who i tought were my
friends, turn a total 180. Instead of dealing with it
and moving on with there lives, they decided to to let
the whole world in on my little secret. Not even a week
went by before the whole school knew about it. Teachers
began looking at me in a different way ,and so did most
of the students. soon my teachers were talking to the
principal. Upon hereing that i was wiccan, i was forced
to talk to the school counselor. Thoughout the rest of
the school year many people took it upon them selfs to
voice their opinions, telling me that i was wrong and
they were right and "trying to save me". soon came the
end of the school year and i switched schools, there
once people found out. i found that they understood
and those who didnt, didnt care.
My advice for some one coming
out of the 'broom closet' would be, dont expect every
to understand or aprove, dont get mad if your friends
ask stupid questions , thet're trying to learn. and
always do what you feel is right
