LOOKING FOR THE YOUNG MAN WHO BOUGHT MY PICK FEMALE PUP OUT OF BOOMER IN 2008.

I HAVE YOUR UKC PAPERS AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH YOU.  PLEASE CONTACT ME SO I CAN SEND THEM TO YOU ASAP.

CH 'PR' SAMSONS SUPER SONIC BOOM

DOB 2-10-03

BOOMERS PEDIGREE

I have currently enrolled Boomer in the UKC Perfomance Sire Program for 2006 & 2007.

Boomer is 26 1/2" tall at the wither and weighs 90 lbs.

He can jump over 5' fences without even touching them.

fJanuary 13th, 2008  took Boomer out for the 2nd time since season opened and in less than 7 minutes he treed 2 coon.

We will hunt Boomer maybe in a few select hunts,  but probably not many because this dog is family and his life means more to us then a title.  The UKC hunts we have been to lately have been disasters waiting to happen between dogs & cars.  We seem to end up hunting just off of well traveled roads or 3 miles from interstates.  If you would like to come hunt with Boomer, give us a call.   We hunt big timber far from busy roads and will be happy to show him in the woods anytime.

Boomer has a screaming bawl on track, a super locate and rolls over into a chop.  I will try to put video of him treeing on here soon, along with sound video of him tracking and locating.

I won't brag on him and tell you how great he is.  Just come meet Boomer and hunt with him you be the judge.

BOOMER AS A PUPPY AT 10 WEEKS

BOOMER was given to us at 8 weeks old by our good friends Chris & Diane Zupanci. At the time we didn't really want a puppy but they insisted and now very grateful they did. Boomer has brought us so much joy.

This is 'PR' SAMSONS SHOWME RAZZ MA TAZZ

Her sire is:  NITECH 'PR' BLANDS OZARK MTN BOSS

Her dam is:  NITECH 'PR' PAYNES BLACK DIANN

We have owned Taz since she was 5 weeks old. She treed her first coon at 7 months old.  Taz is 4 years old now and very independent in the woods.  She has a big voice and is hunted mostly by Logan and or his friend when they hunt together.  She is a pleasure to hunt.  Both her sire and dam probably are both Granded by now but I won't know til I get my puppy papers back and will update then.

This is Sparky a 5 year old Rat Terrier who helps us start our pups to bark on live coon. We find pups are intimidated by a big dog but this little dog fires them up. If we don't get to start our pups in kill season we will show them a live coon a few times, then take them out in the day and let them watch it run off. We then turn them loose to find it. They usually catch on after 2 times, then are hunted with older dogs and coons shot out.

Boomer is not your everyday coonhound.   After a night of hunting he returns home for a bath.  He climbs in the tub and waits patiently to be cleaned.   He lives in the house, sleeps in the middle of a king size bed and rides in the truck most every time we go somewhere, except when its to hot.    He loves to drink water from the running faucet in the tub, hates drinking from a bowl.  If he should have to go outside in the middle of the night he sits and barks at the foot of the bed, if no one wakes up he comes to the head of the bed and puts his nose in your ear and whines. He knows what a McDonalds is, and barks at the window if they take to long getting his Double Cheeseburger.    When I eat he lays his head on my knee waiting patiently for a bite.  He is one of the first coondogs I've owned that doesn't drool.  He also follows whomever is home from room to room and lays down beside their feet.   He is a great watchdog and protector of his family.   I hope we have many years of enjoyment ahead.    All our dogs we own past & present have a special place in our hearts.  They are each unique and have their own personality.  I never knew Coondogs made such great all around dogs.  But after spending lots of time with our Coondogs, I have a very different opinion now.  I am glad I have had the opportunity to spend time training Boomer to do more besides just coonhunting.  Dogs can only reach their full potential with time & love spent training them.
