Welcome! I, of course, am an editor (in training at this moment) of that wholly remarkable internet mosaic of works, the Project Galactic Guide.
The Guide is a collection of articles (around seven hundred at last count) designed to be a definitively inaccurate storage of knowledge in the style of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy . In addition to (attempting to be) editing articles, I write a few as well. Anyone who's ever taken a shower, as they say, can do it. It's fairly simple. All you need is some basic experience with anything and a general knowledge of reading and writing. Some sort of grammar, spelling, or wit helps, and in fact will expedite the publishing of your article; as none of the editors particularly want to spend a lot of their time correcting a poor writer. We are more likely to just toss such an article with a general sense of wonder.
