There we were, playing a show at the...er..sould out Cashbah in downtown Hamilton. After the show a man in a suit approached the stage, and asked to speak to mike. Mike left with the man, only to return an hour later to deliver some devistating news. It turns out the man in the suit was the agent of Wayne Newton, and had come to bring mike back to Los Vegas to be the opening act in Wayne's new show. Mike had decided that although he loved playing such venues as Transit Union hall, he just couldn't give up his life-long dream of meeting Wayne Newton. When the rest of the band finished crying, we decided to wish Mike well and all joined in on waving goodbye.

Then it hit us: We need a new band member to replace mike. At that exact moment we noticed a photo shoot across the street from where we were. It was for one of those womens' calanders where firemen take off their shirts and smile. Having nothing to loose we went over and asked one of the models if he would like to be in our band. He accepted right away and everyone was happy. Ladies and gentleman I now present to you the new EMPATHIZE:
