Taurus Peter Reckell was born in Elkhart, Ind., on May 7. He was raised in Lansing, Mic.
He is 5"11 inches and has brown hair and brown eyes.
His father, Russ is a contracter, and his mother, Barbara, is a speech pathologist.
The Actor has two brothers and three sisters.
Reckell was a member of his high school wrestling team in the featherweight division.
He graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music, where her obtained a B.A in musical theater.
For two seasons he played Johnny Rourke on Knots Landing.
Reckell played Eric Hollister on ATWT from 1980-81.
In 1992, he co-stared with Margaret Reed (ex- Shannon, ATWT) in the play Misconduct Allowed at the Tiffany Theater in West Hollywood.
His other credits inlcude the tv movie They're Doing My Time with Cheryl Ladd and Jean Smart.
His favorite author is Charles Dickens.
Sunflowers are his favorite flowers.
He's an avid mountain biker.
A true romantic, Reckell says, "I love love, I love relationships, exploring all of the aspects of getting to know each other."
Reckell proposed to girlfriend Kelly Moneymaker when they were on a romantic vacation in Italy.
An evironmentalist, Reckell commutes to work in his EV1, an electric car from Saturn. " This car makes a statement," he says. "It shows people that we don't have to pollute the environment to get where we want to go.'
