These are pictures of the people with whom I usually spend Friday evenings.
Here are the four of us girls at Cathy's birthday dinner last October at the Berkeley Thai House.
From left to right, that's Lisa, who is studying in France right now; me; Cathy, who is here for the academic year from England; and Ying, who is a very good dancer.
The nice people at Thai House brought Cathy a dessert!

One weekend Lisa drove the five of us down to Palo Alto to spend a night at her home with her family,
and after that we went for dim sum in Cupertino with my mommy. After dim sum we had pearl milk tea at Fantasia.
This particular evening was one of the great highlights of I think all of our semesters.
We went to San Francisco to have dinner at a restaurant Lisa recommended, Scala's (it's wonderful),
and then heard jazz great Dave Brubeck perform at the Masonic Auditorium.
