Translated into English, the name "Sturmvogel" means "Storm Bird". I'd alays wanted to make some series of improved "Monster Patrol"-style trucks, but because of the BMP export problem in TrackEd for MTM1 where Monster Patrol can't be exported, I couldn't do that. One day, I asked Oliver Pieper if he'd send me a BMP file to edit (because he has the MTM2 editor) and he asked me whether I wanted Monster Patrol's BMP in the MTM1 or 2 textures. I noticed a flaw in the MTM1 textures, so I said to use the MTM2 textures. He sent me 2 separate BMP files, which I wasn't expecting at the time, but I painted them and sent them back. He imported the BMP and returned the BIN and RAW files to me. I put the truck together, and found a flaw with the RAW files, which both he and I realized around the same time (but he probably figured it out first). Monster Truck Madness can't read an MTM2 RAW file! He edited the textures of the RAW files, and so now we have an MTM2 truck for MTM1! Sturmvogel has excellent handling and speed. It has a lower, wider, and more realistic stance. If you look at the real Monster Patrol, you'll notice that it seems to be taller in the game than it is in reality. With less height and the wider stance, Sturmvogel doesn't roll over easy at all!
Rating: 10/10
