My family and Life where I live
My name is Jami Taylor and I live in a small town called Mt. Vernon Missouri. I just moved back home for the winter. I was living in a town called Branson. Branson is a tourist town which has shows, theme parks, water parks, all kinds of malls and so much more. I worked this summer in a theme park called Silver Dollar City. I would have to say that it was one of the better experiences I have had in my life. I met a lot of new people and besides just a fun atmosphere they have great Christian values and they emphasize them! Everyone who works there has to go through a "school" called Legendary U. You spend a day listening to them and what they expect; now don't get the wrong idea! It's awesome, some people think it "cheesy"...well my friend when values are one of the biggest part of the company, then it's awesome! I met my roommate thru SDC ( Silver Dollar City) Her name is Amanda, we had some real good times. After our season at SDC ended We started working together at a theater called the Promise . The Promise is the life and story of Jesus Christ from His birth to His ascension. I had a wonderful time working there. God blessed my life so incredibly much and I met some wonderful people. To tell you a little about my family I will start with where I was raised. I was born in Tucson Arizona, I have one sister her name is Azalea (like the flower). She has four children and They are all girls. There names from oldest to youngest are Jodie Cheyenne, Jordan Michelle, Lauryn Hope Andrea and Kylie LeeAnn. They are all beautiful and I love them very much. Thank you God for them. My father was a pastor in Arizona in a fairly big Church called Tri Community Christian Fellowship until him and my mother felt that the Lord was calling them to minister out here. So we moved out here in the middle of winter( January to be exact) the year was 1990. My dad now pastors a small Church called Christ Chapel in Mt. Vernon. My mom works at the TB lab in the Rehab hospital. They also own a small business called Just Write Word Processing. My mother teaches computer lessons and my dad designs webpages. Some of his work is shown on my links pages. So check it out. Anyway, I am 19 and seeking God for what He wants me to do. Sometimes I feel I am being called into a specific ministry, but then I think.. aren't we all called to preach God's Word?
