In some recent news S-FOIL just returned from Studio City California where they re-recorded "17 Minutes" at Studio City Sound with owner/chief engineer Tom Weir and producer Steve Plunkett of Fender Records.

We finished recording all the tracks the first day in roughly 10 hours with a lunch and dinner break in there. That night we got back to THE SPORTSMAN'S LODGE for some chillin out where Luke had a run in with the hot tub police. (You'll have to ask him about it sometime) Got to the studio the next day about 1p.m. where Steve did some mixing and brushing up on the track to make it sound like a real rock and roll band. We were done about 4:30 and headed off to a Dodgers game for some sweet sassy molassey baseball. At the 7th inning stretch we booked to hang out at the beach for a while before the sun went down. Choice! Bed time came early because we were told by everyone to try and leave at least 3 hours early to make our 8:30a.m. flight. THAT SUCKED! We made it ok though and are now stoked to hear the final mastered song when it comes out some time in September on a compilation c.d. with the other 20 kick ass artists that got the same deal as us. We want to MEGA THANK OCEAN PACIFIC, FENDER RECORDS, STEVE, TOM and family for providing us with an awesome time in Studio City.
