Hello, and welcome to my tribute page to
Michael Flately and Lord of The Dance.
I am glad you could stop by. I became an instant fan of Michael when
I first saw him leap out onto the stage of Riverdance. I stumbled across that show by pure
accident while walking through a video
store in a mall one day. Since then I have also been a huge fan of Irish Dance.
In case you don't know, Lord of The Dance had been brewing in Michael's head
for a couple years before it's opening night in Dublin, but never actually came
off the canvas untill he left the Riverdance show.
I, to the argument of others, still think that Michael Flately IS the
greatest irish dancer ever born!!! If you look at what he has gone through to
get where he is today, I would think you would have to agree.

This show is so overwhelming when you watch it on video, but
there is NO finer treat than to see it LIVE!!!! If Lord Of The Dance
comes to your city, take my advice and GO!!!

Some of the best dances in the show are definately Cry Of The Celts, Celtic Dream,
Stolen kiss, but my altime favorite that I can watch again and again is Victory!!!

The Music
The music from the show is an Irish delight. It was composed by
Ronan Hardiman, and is a work of genius. It captures the feel and
energy of the dancers during each scene. Below are some sound clips
