Fishermen who fish at night know how frustrating it can be to tell when they are getting bites, especially when fishing for catfish or other slow-biting fish. They either have to fish with the rod in their hand at all times, miss bites, or use a light that attracts bugs that bite them.

The Gemini Rod Co. has found a solution to this. By building a light into the tip of the rod, we have made it possible to see at night, even from a distance, when the fish are biting! The LED light, seated in Lexan plastic, has a low enough light output to be of minimal notice to insects, yet is easy to see. Also, LEDs almost never fail.

Powered by two N-Cell batteries (included with each rod) located in the butt of the rod, and turned off and on with a switch, also located in the butt, the LED light is long lasting. Our screw-on end cap makes battery replacement and switch maintenance easy. Also, a water-tight seal is accomplished by use of ordinary garden hose washers, making replacement easy and inexpensive when needed.
