If you're wondering, the new series are Digimon, Eiken, Trigun, Maze; Megaburst Space, Najica Blitz Tactics, Read Or Die, Ai Yori Aoshi, Lunar: Silver Story Complete, and Those Who Hunt Elves. You'll have to find out which characters from which on your own.

It seems that the instant a series makes it's debut here, there's always a joke like this sooner or later.
Especially with the thrusting motions.
Of course, it's still in use because of the fanservice.
