American Pie 2 stars Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs are in high spirits, in Australia, and keen to get in Queensland's water.
Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs are like two kids on red cordial. The pair have just a few hours until they wrap up commitments in Sydney and can escape to far north Queensland to scuba dive and party. After an intense 10 minute discussion about rainforests and reefs, the guys finally get around to discussing American Pie 2, their kissing scene and , naturally, sex.
How did your big kissing scene go? Were you nervous?

Seann: Kinda nervous - it was weird but...well, everybody was laughing, so we knew it was working.
Jason: The director wanted us to kiss in rehearsal, and we were like, "F**k that!"
Jason: Yeah, no tongue, and mints beforehand.
Seann: But you sucked my lip.
Jason: I did not suck your lip!
Seann: A little, by accident, at the very end, when you were pulling away.
Jason: But what about when you licked my neck (Laughs) No, i'm kidding.
Seann: I know but i didn't think "Oh great, i'm kissing another guy". It was just such a funny scene.
Seann: Mena Suvari's Heather, especially when she stars rubbing herself. It just put a whole new spin on her.
Jason: Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), because she's cute and can be sexy, and there's definitely more than meets the eye - she's funny....she's a cool girl. Also, anyone who gets kinky with a musical instrument...I mean, come on, the flute thing? That'd be cool. Down with the funky shit!
Seann: There were some girls at the premiere in Brisbane who were playing flutes while i was walking down the red carpet. It was hilarious - they were hot too.
Jason: I would say in high school with my girlfriend. We were messing around a bit and her mum walked in.
Seann: Dunno. Can't remember.
Jason: Oh, come on. Remember that time i walked into your trailer after lunch and you were jerking off?
Seann: Yeah but i planned it. That wasn't me getting caught. You were getting set up.
Jason: Five days ago - larygitis and bronchitis. I took some antibiotics, and the doctor said "Don't talk". I was like "That's going to be a tough one".
Seann: Six days ago, for tonsillitis. We haven't been well.
Seann: I played guitar quite recently.
Jason: I played the trombone in American Pie 2, during filming. I played terribly, but at least i made a sound.
Seann: Did you make all that dancing up during that scene? That's what you should do - a movie about a character driven to be a dancer, but is just awful.
Jason: Five minutes ago.
Seann: This whole interview.
Jason: 1997, working at Gap Kids. I was alos working on KP (kitchen patrol) at the VFW (Veterans of Foreign War). That was the toughest job ever.
Seann: I washed dishes at a Chinese restaurant. The crockery was burning hot. I worked there for a day and i was like, "You know what? Screw this job! I quit!". I also worked at the zoo. I had to wear this big tall hat and serve food to people. I was sweating, making hot dogs, and at the same time i was doing a Rolling Stone interview for American Pie. I was thinking "What am i doing? This sucks! And i have a movie coming out in like, two months".
Seann: I talk about sex a lot.
Jason: With this film, yeah - lots of sex questions from journalists.
Jason: Nah, i haven't been really offended by any of the questions. But given the subject matter, basically any question is apporpriate.
Seann: One of the best was on April Fools'. Do you know what that is in Australia?
Seann: Oh, okay - well, anyway, Eddie (Kaye Thomas) and Jason staged this fake fight. They asked the stunt coordinator to show them some moves, so it looked real.
Jason: Everyone was like "What's going on? Two of the lead actors are fighting!". I was just about to come in with the fake punch and this assistant director comes flying in shouting "Cut it out!". Eddie and i just started cracking up.
Jason: I wouls say be more confidence, and even if you're not, act like you are, and don't get ahead of yourself.
Jason: Sweet and a few clues. Sweet and clueless is better than cocky and confident, then you can play the sympathy card; girls want to teach you.
Seann: We're off to Cairns - i might go skydiving....
Jason: Really?
Seann: Yeah, it's like the only place in the world where you can land on a beach. And you can do tandem.
Jason: I would love to do it; I'm just too scared. But i'm definitely gonna scuba dive.
Seann: It's unbelieveable, dude. Unbelieveable.
