Chris focuses mostly on wildlife found in and around his beloved woods of Minnesota but also takes pride in featuring wildlife found while on his various photographic excursions as well. Many of the photographs on this page are of wildlife found within 150 miles of Chisholm with photographs from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the Dakotas as well as many other breathtaking parts of our world. Chris particularly enjoys the “hunt” involved in his photography and finds it exhilarating to capture these animals in their natural environments. He finds great inspiration in the fact that he is still able to enjoy a pristine environment when there is so much harm being done elsewhere. He hope that his photographs are able to remind those from our area how lucky we are to have these animals here and to let those who aren’t as familiar to Minnesota know the absolute beauty that we have hidden in our fragile lakes and woods.
