Question 1. What's A Legendary? (Indepth)
Answer. The Legendaries were thirteen of the most powerful pokegirls Sukebe himself made, the mightest of whom is Typhonna, a massive war machine said to be capable of creating micro-blackholes. Most of the other Legendaries were either human-sized or capable of shifting sizes (like Titania and Kary). The Legendaries have massive bounties on their heads, seeing as they were the figureheads of Sukebe's army when Pre-Sukebe civilization fell.

Question 2. What Is A Neo-Legendary? (Indepth)
Answer. These pokegirls are assumed to be have been made after Sukebe's "death", and in some ways, are even more powerful than most of the originals and are, for the most part, assumed to be more intelligent. The one big exception to the power class is Typhonna. None of the Neo-Legendaries are going to measure up to her when it comes to her Ebony Void attack. Ever. As to who made them, it's fairly certain that Sukebe "couldn't" have done it.

Question 3. Can Pokeball Catch A Human?
Answer. For any legally produced pokeballs, it just won't work on a human. There is a built in lockout on human DNA and while Pokegirl DNA is similar, there are key differences between even a strong-bloodgifted human and a pokegirl. A pokegirl could concievably use one to keep another pokegirl in check, but since she couldn't be a tamer as the captured girl would legally go to whoever the tamed pokegirl is registered to.
However, with illegal modifications, it IS possible to capture humans, but since the pokeballs are hardwired for pokegirls only (and any information about what circuits contain that information is such a high level secret that even getting close to it is warrant enough for death), the result of the illegal modifications will turn a human into a random pokegirl, most likely an Ingenue (unless it's programmed for a specific pokegirl type). For bloodgifted individuals, it's whatever is closest to their genes.

Question 4. Where Are These Fighting And Sex Leagues?
Answer. The Sex and Fighting Leagues aren't actual Nation-Leagues, like the Crimson League or the Indigo League, but rather, more like a bowling league versus a baseball league. Both can exist in the same area, even if they don't interact. The Crimson League has a strong Fighting League, which is why it's the focused on more often in the Crimson League main story. The Crimson League's Sex League isn't as popular, mostly because it lacks literal explosions.

Question 5. What's The Difference Between Threshold, Domesticate And Feralborn Pokegirls?
Answer. That requires a bit of explanation. See, Pokegirls are able to reproduce without sexual intercourse. This reproduction, however, produce a child that's completely identical to her mother, only without the memories. Pokegirls born like this are called "Feralborn". Feralborns (Ferals for short) are much more powerful, but oftentimes, they are not as intelligent as their Domesticate or Threshold sisters. A number of Feralborn pokegirls have a limited lifespan, though this varies greatly, but the average is roughly 20-40 years. Because of this shorter lifespan, they often grow up faster, but a pokedex or a pokecenter is needed to verify that the pokegirl is of taming age, her equivalent of 16-18 (exact age depends on the league). Various other pokegirls, like Elves and Ice Maidens, have very long lifespans, ranging from 70-300 years.
Domesticate Pokegirls are born from intercourse between a human and a PokeWoman, but are born as pokegirls. Domesticates aren't as powerful as Ferals, but they are much more intelligent, allowing them to compensate or even surpass their Feral sisters with tactics. Domesticates also gain the benefits of a lifespan closer to that of humans. Just like Feralborns, she must be of taming age (equivalently 16-18) before she can be tamed by a Tamer. Otherwise, while she can engage in sex, her body doesn't desire it.
A Threshold Pokegirl is a girl who was born as a human child from either two humans (each with a pokegirl ancestry); a pureblood human and a human with a pokegirl ancestry; or any human and a pokegirl. At some point in their life, usually between ages 14-19 (but very rarely before 12 or after 21), something will trigger inside of her, sending her through Threshold to become one of the pokegirls types that are in her ancestry. Many Threshold pokegirls suffer emotional trauma during this time, as would be expected if anyone had their body suddenly change against their wills. After threshold, Threshold pokegirls have the same capacity as Domesticate pokegirls. Strangely, there have been a small, but growing number of threshold girls becoming a pokegirl that is not in their ancestry.

Question 6. I Keep Hearing About Pokegirls Losing Intelligence If They Go Feral, What's Up With That?
Answer. If a pokegirl does not get "tamed" for a long while (this "while" can vary greatly and is dependent mainly on her species type and libido), 99% will eventually grow Feral, where they may become more like Feralborns. In some cases (but hardly all), the pokegirl may lose her intelligence as well, acting no different from a feralborn pokegirl. In these cases, their intelligence will return if they are "tamed". Most of the time, these pokegirls will show signs of this when they are growing feral, usually by talking in the third person (when they normally talk in first) or becoming too easily amused (when they normally wouldn't even be amused).

Question 7. So, What Are PokeWomen?
Answer. PokeWomen are, just like real women, a state where the Pokegirl matures. Her powers and control increase considerably, but this is a sign that she can reproduce. Pokegirls can't reproduce with humans, Pokewomen can. This doesn't mean that a Peekabu will evolve into a Pokewoman. She GROWS into being a Pokewoman, just like a little girl GROWS into a woman. The Peekabu would still be a Peekabu, but now she's a WOMAN. When she's become a PokeWoman, breeders and tamers alike can produce children with her. It's also at this biological stage that Ferals can give birth to Feralborn children.

Question 8. Wait, I Just Read Wild Horses & Pokegirls, Why Are So Many Pokegirls Different In The Pokedex?
Answer. We've been doing a lot of growth since Metroanime wrote about this world. Some pokegirls went unchanged because they were made well the first time, but others were just blurbs tossed out and eventually collected up. Said blurbs weren't as well-thought-out. Some needed revision. Others went untouched or weren't fleshed out enough. As such, the current Pokedex is going through changes to improve many of those poorly-thoughtout or overly generalized pokegirls who slipped in the door when most of us weren't looking.

Question 9. Can I Make A Pokegirl?
Answer. Please don't. If you do feel the need, she might be added to the AU pokedex. If it's well-received or popular enough, she may EVENTUALLY be added to the main pokedex.
But don't hold your breath....

Question 10. Where Can I Submit Fanfiction And/Or Art?
Answer. You can submit it to the Yahoo group or to akun16@hotmail.com with the subject line "For PWP". PLEASE make sure the subject line says "PWP". I get a LOT of spam saying stupid things like "This is for you!" and if I don't know your e-mail address, I may delete it accidentally. You'll get full credit for your work when you submit something. If it's a submission made by someone else, please state that in your message and, if you know it, please, please, PLEASE tell me where you found it (or the original artist) so I can give them credit or track it down.

Question 11. Can Pokegirls Get Sick?
Answer. Not really. Save for the Blight, Sukebe made all of his pokegirls immune to _most_ current illnesses. They might have allergies, but other than constructed viruses, the magic technique Bio and the grass techniques Virus and AntiVirus, there isn't much that can affect them.
Only the Sphinx was ever seriously affected by viruses, and the weapon used against them (the Monster Flu) didn't affect them for long, and it eventually turned into the Red Plague which had 92% fatality rate... against humans. I think that little "fluke" was pretty much the final nail in the coffin of bio-research.

Question 12. What Year Is It?
Answer. The "current" time for Wild Horses & Pokegirls and Crimson League is roughly 300 AS. If you're wondering, that's in the distant future, specifically 2302 AD (as of 2002 AD, the calendar switched to 0 AS or After Sukebe). Every story can vary on it's timeline, and not every story is in the same exact universe. You can think of Alternate Universe stories as similar to Marvel's "What If" storylines. They don't take place in what is universally acknowledged as the "Prime Line".

Question 13. How Do They Test For Bloodgifts/Curses?
Answer. A blood test would definitely show the gifts/curses, as well as their potential strength. It would be no different than doing a DNA test or testing for various blood-related diseases, really, but there would be a chance that a gift/curse may go unnoticed or misidentified, though that chance would become smaller the further along in the timeline the story occurs in.
Otherwise, a doctor could likely identify a bloodgift/curse through apparent signs (like a child who seems to build up too much "static electricity" without even trying would very likely have a Electric bloodgift).
The blood test, if that is the method chosen, would have to be specifically for that cause. Just like the fact that they don't automatically screen for STDs or various other blood problems unless you specifically ask for them, bloodgifts and curses would require someone to request the testing.
The major problem with these tests is that they'd likely be more limited in leagues where the humans still have their heads up their asses about human/pokegirl interaction, so any child who thought they might have a bloodgift would likely need their parent's permission to check for one, which would probably lead to a number of teenagers or adults learning that they had a bloodgift all along and never knew about it. Or worse, they discover the power on their own and don't learn how to control it properly.

Question 14. What Keeps A Domina Or Some Other Pokegirl From Catching Human Men And Pokegirls Like A Tamer?
Answer. Nothing can stop them from doing that, just like no one can stop thieves from choosing a victim and making an attempt to rob them. How successful they are is another matter. Using illegal modification chips, Jusenkyo Toxic Spelldump water or the Love Pokeball are all felony offenses, regardless of the League, and each League has means of dealing with criminals, whether human or pokegirl, who do such things. All Leagues, until certain laws are passed, also have a ban on a pokegirl acting as a tamer. The Crimson League does have some laws which will pass into affect to allow threshold pokegirls to become tamers, and other Leagues (such as the World Championship League) have already secretly instituted similar programs.

Question 15. What's This "Parity" Thing Everyone Talks About?
Answer. Parity is a philosophy that humans and pokegirls should learn to live in harmony. The philosophy of Parity eventually spawned a number of groups, including the Parity Group, Haven and the Church of Darkness. These movements have been set back a number of times by atrocities that were either pinned/blamed on pokegirls or actually were committed by pokegirls. If Parity is ever achieved, it would mean that all pokegirls, regardless of birth, would have full rights as a human citizen, including voting. However, it's considered a dream beyond a dream, considering the number of organizations that are devoted to abusing pokegirls for profit, and the number of times that pokegirls will form their own groups to lash out at humanity.

Question 16. So Anyone Can Have Sex With Pokegirls?
Answer. Technically, yes, but every League takes action if people keep pokegirls without registering them. The Leagues are all about control and the idea that some idiot has been pissing off an unregistered and dangerous pokegirl (like the Whorizard) is a serious risk to everyone's safety _and_ to the League's control.
Thus, if a person wants to own and tame a pokegirl regularly, they must apply for a license. The typical license that's usually featured is the Tamer's License.
The Tamer's License is essentially like a driver's license. It allows a tamer to own and raise a set limit of pokegirls. Usually this is about 6 pokegirls (but every league is slightly different). If a tamer wants more, most leagues have a Storage License test set up. In many leagues, Tamers are essentially like the town militia, so they're called upon to take action during emergencies.
If a civilian wants to have a pokegirl, they generally need what's often referred to as a Pet License, which generally grants permission to raise up 3 pokegirls in a house. This License requires a look at the civilian's income and housing to ensure that the pokegirls won't be starved or cramped, which may result in problems akin to the unregistered pokegirls. It's also much more costly and the person's domicile is far more easily investigated for signs of mistreatment.
There's also a Breeder's License for anyone who wants to raise and breed pokegirls. This is just like the Pet License, but there's a lot more requirements and allows for a lot more pokegirls.
Professors and Watchers each have their own licenses. Watchers can normally only have four pokegirls, but arrangements can be made if they want larger groups.
Professors, on the other hand, can have any number, but are expected to produce research or hand out any pokegirls they don't personally tame or need to hold onto for various reasons.
It's also a crime to tame someone ELSE'S pokegirl without that person's permission. Laws can protect recent threshold pokegirls, but usually don't last more than a few weeks, afterwhich, depending on the League and her body's new libido, she'll need to take a partner.
After a certain date (I don't remember offhand), threshold pokegirls in the Crimson League can become tamers so long as they registered to become tamers before threshold, so they would need to pick up a pokegirl of their own before that deadline. After that date in the Crimson League, anyone who catches a threshold pokegirl who has registered beforehand will be charged as if they had used an illegal pokeball to catch a human tamer.

Question 17. How Many Pokegirls Can You Have?
Answer. This is handled differently in every League. Most Leagues don't have a problem with a tamer having a lot of pokegirls, so long as they can satisfy them and don't let them go Feral. However, a tamer can only use six during any battle to keep a bad tamer from simply throwing a thousand pokegirls at a newbie tamer who only has one or two and letting them win simply by exhuastion. Many leagues don't like a tamer having too many pokegirls out at one time (unless it's a ranch or a laboratory) simply because the tamer may be involved in pokegirl-related crimes. So, if a tamer captures more than six, the newly captured pokegirls are electronically transferred into a league-controlled storage.

return to index

Question 18. Why Is There A Restriction On Storage?
Answer. Some leagues don't require a storage license, but most do. The purpose behind it is to prove that you aren't simply going to abandon pokegirls in the system.
In the Crimson League, if you don't have a storage license, you have a set number of days to register for one after getting more than 6 pokegirls (i.e. the instant a tamer catches their 7th and it goes into storage), during which the pokecenter that is holding them e-mails you warnings daily until you either do have one or the time is up and they have not heard a response. If a tamer tells them that they are some ways from a pokecenter, all will hold onto the pokegirl for a while longer until the tamer can arrive. In worst case scenarios (i.e. they've broken a leg out in the wilderness and/or been robbed and left for dead), a rescue team will be sent out to pick the tamer up.
If the time is up and there is no response, they aren't simply released back into the wild, but the tamer in question loses all rights to reclaim them. They're held in the pokecenter for other tamers to claim. If no tamers claim them, after a while, they're sent to a ranch.
Doing this often gets the tamer in question punished by the League, as it shows an irresponsible nature. The penalties will vary, but many will call the tamer in for a license review. The only ways to avoid this is A) to send a message to the pokecenter saying that you release custody of the pokegirl, either due to lack of funds or an inability to complete the storage license test, prior to the time when the pokegirl would be released for other tamers to claim; or B) to rotate the pokegirl in question into active duty while sending a different pokegirl into storage. This, however, is still monitored and the tamer in question can only keep this sort of activity up for another two weeks before they begin to face financial penalties.
So long as you have storage license, theoretically, you can hold a pokegirl in storage indefinitely, but the pokecenters are authorized to remove pokegirls to allow them to stretch, get food and exercise.
The Storage License itself (in the Crimson League, at least) requires the tamer to pay 10000 slc (roughly $100) and take a test which is usually harder than the standard tamer test (for the Crimson League, it's exceptionally hard compared to the tamer test). If the tamer in question passes, they don't need to reapply (except in certain Leagues). If they fail, they can retry as often as they want, but it costs 10000 slc for each attempt.

return to index

Question 19. No, I Mean, What's The Limit On The Number Of Pokegirls Allowed In A Single Tamer's Storage?
Answer. Again, this varies. All Leagues have set maximums, but which this is will vary. Some Leagues don't believe that a tamer could handle more than 20 pokegirls, while others think it could be possible to handle upwards of 100. Of course, this all depends on how quickly each of the pokegirls in question will grow feral.

return to index

Question 20. How Do You Tell How Fast A Pokegirl Will Go Feral?
Answer. The listed libido for each pokegirl type USUALLY indicates how much her body actually NEEDS sex; though there are exceptions, such as pokegirls whose needs are seasonal or pokegirls like the Iron Maiden (who can go years without needing a taming, but every few years require a full month of hot sweaty sex). Generally, the higher the libido, the more often she SHOULD be tamed. Of course, the author can choose to change things as they see fit.

Question 21. Why Aren't There A Ton Of Martial Artists?
Answer. Metroanime and I actually argued over this.
Yes, we argued.
Metroanime wanted a world where men were entirely dependent on women for protection; just as in the pokemon world, humans are entirely dependent on pokemon for protection, while I was of the opinion that anti-pokegirl groups would never allow such a thing. At the very least, they would see to it that the concept of humans defending themselves wouldn't die.
Officially, it was agreed that martial arts would have fallen in favor as a great deal of fighters died or were critically injured in the Sukebe War, and there was a (admittedly short-lived) era of peace following Sukebe's "death". As such, some styles died altogether. However, not all of them were lost and in fact, some were created, like the Four Dragons Style. As such, martial artists exist, and are rising in numbers, but remain a minority. While police and the Hunter's Guild are more likely to know martial arts, it's not likely that any but the most dedicated would go beyond an intermediate level.

Question 22. Some Entries Say A Pokegirl Lays An Egg, Some Say That All Pokegirls Have Life Births. WTF?!
Answer. There has been some discrepancy. For a long time, it was the consensus amomg the vocal members that feralborn and domesticate pokegirls were hatched from eggs. Then, pokegirls were the only ones to come from eggs, but human babies born from a pokegirl were live births.
For now, all births are live unless otherwise noted.

Question 23. Are The Attacks Listed All Of The Ones The Pokegirl Can Learn?
Answer. No, those lists merely note the ones that the pokegirl can naturally learn, and they probably won't know them all to begin with.
A pokegirl CAN learn new techniques of their element or of any non-conflicting elements (i.e. no Ice pokegirl can learn fire techniques). Almost all pokegirls can learn a normal or fighting technique, though some may require quite a bit of training to make them effective.
Pokegirls can also learn a technique via a T2 training machine.

return to index

Question 24. Who Would Want A Normal-Type Pokegirl?
Answer. Most people discredit the normal-types too easily. A Normal-Type doesn't have elemental conflicts, and thus, can conceivably learn many different elemental attacks. A Titmouse, even though she's a normal-type, could easily learn to use Bubblebeam via a T2, then follow it up with a Thunderbolt (also learned via a T2).
The elemental types that don't conflict much with others and thus, can learn a wide-array are Normal, Fighting, Flying (though they can't learn many ground techniques), Magic, Psychic and Ground (though they can't learn many flying techniques).
The rest of the elemental types can't use any attacks from an element they oppose (water pokegirls can't learn fire or grass techniques, grass pokegirl can't learn fire techniques, etc.)

return to index

Question 25. Hey Could Any Pokegirl Learn Psychic And/Or Magic Techniques?
Answer. So long as she has the apititude, yes. Psychic and Magic affinity have NOTHING to do with one's primary elemental type, so a Kitten, a Growlie or a Draco could learn magic or psychic abilities/techniques. However, they have to have a magic and/or a psychic AFFINITY, which likely going to be discovered on a personal basis. So, there could be a hundred Dracos that can't use magic for every one that can; or there could be twenty Psychic Growlies walking around in a herd; or a Kitten might have some minor ability in either element.
This is RANDOM.

return to index

Question 26. What IS The Best Element?
Answer. If you aren't familiar with Pokemon, then you probably don't know that there is no strongest element. Dragon Pokegirls have the fewest known weaknesses, but are rare as a result. Otherwise, pokegirls are have various weaknesses to make them interesting and every other element has an element that they're weakest against, and those that they're strong against. It creates a sort of balance.

return to index

Question 27. Realistically, Why Do The Pokegirls Have Libidos?
Answer. YOU HEARTLESS BASTARD!
AHEM, Rule #15 of The Fanfiction Forum: Logic Kills Catgirls.
It's probably listed as a different number in most other places, but still, its wisdom rings true.
To answer your question, it was LIKELY to create a sense of co-dependence and keep them from in-fighting and killing each other. After all, if you need to get lucky in order to stay in control, you're more likely to hold back if things comes to blows. The differing elements might have been a means of keeping them from getting too arrogant, but much more likely, they weren't even intentional.
When humans started taming pokegirls, Dildoran, Psidykes and other lesbian-only pokegirls were likely added into Sukebe's Armies to try and keep pokegirls loyal to Sukebe.
Sukebe himself was still horny enough, even in his madness, to want some pokegirls he could bang, which is why there are so few strictly heterosexual and so many bisexual pokegirls.
