![]() Who will care for your pets, while you need to be away on business or vacation? Boarding your pet at a kennel can cause your pet anxiety and stress. From the comforts of your own home (if you live within a 15 mile radius of Willmar, MN), Paw Prints Pet Service can conveniently visit and care for your pet(s) in your own home while you are away. Services offered include feeding and watering your pets, giving your pets loving attention, dog walking, administering medicine if needed, changing cat litter boxes, and cleaning up pet "accidents," should they occur. Paw Prints Pet Service is a service offered by Jo Witt, who has been around animals her entire life, having been raised on a farm, and who is an avid cat and dog lover and dog breeder. Her own current pet family consists of two inside cats, four outside dogs (who frequently visit indoors), and sundry puppies that come and go as they are born, raised, and leave for their new homes. Jo is a breeder of AKC-registered Shetland Sheepdogs and designer breed "Sheltchows" (purebred Chow Chow with purebred Shetland Sheepdog). Jo has experience caring for an insulin-dependent diabetic dog for five and a half years, two of her dogs who've been blind, a dog with arthritis, and experience caring for a dog and a puppy who have skin allergies. Jo has cared for two cats with cancer and also two who have had bladder stones. Whatever your pet's stage of life or health circumstances, Jo is willing to work with your pet's needs to ensure the best of care while you're away. COST: $15 per visit. Mileage may also be charged, depending on distance. Personal references as to Jo's character are available upon request. Email for more info:
![]() "Fluffy" (Mr. Fluff) Born 08/01/91, Joined our family 11/28/02, Went to Heaven 06/16/07 Adopted from an elderly lady going into a nursing home. Fluffy had lost a back leg as a kitten, but hardly let it handicap him much at all. Early June '07 we took Fluffy to the vet for what seemed to be his annual respiratory infection, and instead learned that he had a tumor on his tongue. Fluffy quit eating soon thereafter, began hiding, and passed away peacefully at home about one week after we learned of his diagnosis of a cancerous tumor. It was a blessing to have been able to share the time that we did with Fluffy, and I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to care for him for nearly five years after his original owner was no longer able to. Fluffy was a wonderful companion with so much personality, and he is sorely missed.
