CD singles from Germany and UK get mixed up a lot, especially from Load and on. But there are 3 ways to tell what country it is from...
1.Look on the underside of the disc, it will either say "Made in Germany", or "Made in UK". It may be harder to see on some discs than others.
2.The play lines on the Germany discs show up. This is why Germany CD singles won't work very well with a scanner. The outside of the disc will be dark and the lettering in that area won't show up (notice I use a camera when this happens?). Look at the picture. If the Germany and UK CD are picture discs (Live at Wembly Germany is a picture disc), the playlines on the CD won't be there at all, making this rule useless.
3.ALL UK singles will have a clear center ring around the center of the disc that Germany versions don't. Again look at the picture.
