Victoria is wearing a mourning costume in all black silk. Her costume lacks color but is loaded with details that may be hard to see unless you look very closely! Her jacket front is trimmed with shirred ribbon and beaded with jet black beads. Lace trims the jacket waistline, cuffs, and neckline. Her skirt is pleated and pools around her with lace. She wears a featherd stole around her shoulders. Her demure hat is trimmed with tulle veil and feathers. But aside from her outfit, doesn't her expression just steal your heart. She looks like she is about to cry!

Please note, she was very diffcult to photograph. In order to capture some of the costume details, I had to use flash photography, which makes the black fabric look washed out and faded in the pictures. That is not the case though. Her dress is a rich dark black and not faded at all.
