Claudette is wearing a costume dated to 1778. Her skirt is from silk jaquard with gold thread design on a light blue background, trimmed with blue china silk. Her top is also china silk in gold, trimmed with shirred ribbon and a pearl brooch at the plunging neckline. Her gold shoes are trimmed with ribbon and sparkling crystals. She holds a walking stick, made from stained wood and trimmed with a brass handle and ribbon. Her straw hat is trimmed with ribbon and roses. She can either wear her hat, or hold it in her hand, in order to show off her lovely hair, which is trimmed with a strand of pearls.
