Minnesota Statute 122A.40 This is the State Law that determines employment and termination of teachers. It includes things like unrequested leave of absence, continuing contract rights (many people call this "tenure"), and dismissal procedures.
Minnesota Statute 179A This is the State Law commonly called PELRA (Public Employment Labor Relations Act) that governs the responsibilities and rights of the HEA and its members.
