The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try,
to serve god and my country,
to help people at all times,
and to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be,
Honest and Fair,
Friendly and Helpful,
Considerate and Caring,
Courageous and Strong,
Responsible for what I say and do,
To respect myself and others,
To respect authority, and use resources wisely,
To make the world a better place,
and to be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Support your Girl Scouts

How can you help support your girls in scouting? Well here are a few ideas.

  • Attending scheduled parent meetings
  • Keeping in touch with her Troop Leaders. Using the open door policy to bring your concerns and questions to us. Informing us of any special needs your child may have.
  • Helping her attend outside activities by transporting her to and from, or offering to carpool with other families. Chaperoning events.
  • Helping your daughter be responsible by getting her to scheduled meetings on time, ensuring she is in her uniform. Remembering paperwork, permission slips, additional items needed for meetings.
  • Sharing your skills and talents with the Troop.
  • Reviewing with her the Program Guides and helping her make good choices on council activities she would like to participate in.
  • Donating items needed on our wish list.
