Flat Katarina attended a party for a teacher at the Wabasso Public School who just became a new citizen of the USA. Flat Katarina enjoyed meeting Mrs. H. who came from Columbia and also many of the other teachers at Wabasso. Next week she hopes to meet the State Champion Girls basketball team. Here Kat is at the party eyeing up the cake, it was delicious!
WOW! Flat Katarina got to join the Minnesota State Class A Champion Girls basketball team for a picture. She also hung around with the girls for a while and enjoyed hearing stories about their state tournament adventure! Today, Flat Katarina went to work at the bank with Uncle Bill. The first job of the day was to get the vault open. It was hard work! Later Flat Katarina took phone calls to help. It was a fun day.
A beautiful spring day found me going for a walk around Wabasso with Aunt Jan. We walked all over and I met lots of nice people. Wabasso is a friendly small town.
When we got home from the walk, Flat Katarina was a bit tired so she lounged around on the deck for awhile.
Flat Katarina went along to a bowling tournament. She brought good luck to Aunt Jan and she bowled very well and will get some money back. It was a fun day in Granite Falls, MN.
Saturday was a beautiful day and Uncle Bill and Aunt Jan were going to take me fishing. I was all set in my borrowed life jacket and fishing pole when Uncle Bill found out that the motor needed a part. Too bad, but I played around in the boat for awhile.
Flat Katarina went to school again with Aunt Jan. She enjoyed storytime in the library with the second grade. A surprise was a visit with a Flat Teddy from Kentucky. Imagine two "Flat" visitors in the same day. They are both in this picture with the Wabasso School 2nd Grade.
Flat Katarina has her very own room while she is staying at Uncle Bill and Aunt Jan's. Here she is ready to go to sleep. It has been a long day. Goodnight!
