Some sites even (try to) implant SpyWare programs into your computer. They basically track where you go for marketing research and sometimes just show you pop-up ads. Pop up ads are just about the most annoying thing on the Internet. This website only has pop up ads because it is provided by a free service and that's the way they pay for their hosting and general costs.
