Everything a consumer could want is now online. People no longer have to even go to a grocery or electronics store to get what they want. All you have to do now is find what you want (also find the cheapest place there is, you no longer have to drive to find good prices) and buy it, then wait a couple days for shipping. The internet brings whole new levels of convienence to today's consumers because you can buy just about anything just by searching. Most companies charge less if you buy online because of shipping costs. Also, there are no "store hours" online, you go on when you feel like it. There are no lines, rude customers or kids running up and down aisles screaming.

Unfortunately, some companies that put up a website in hope of attracting customers don't go through so well. In these cases its usually because buying some products in the store is better, like buying a TV or computer is better done in a store because that way you can have all the questions you need answered before you make a decision.
