Transportation
Transportation workers move people or things by road, air, rail or sea. Some workers in this field are responsible for the health and safety rules and regulations. People and things need to be transported 24/7 this means that you may end up working nights, weekends and holidays. Most transportation workers do not work a 9 AM - 5 PM shift. In addition to operating machinery transportation workers are sometimes responsible for inspecting their equipment. You should have some of the following skills:

The growing population will increase the future demand for workers as well. Transportation, especially air travel, has been hit hard over the past few years. Education: 3-4 Years: Most have a 4 year degree or 3 years of experience before entering FAA training that lasts about 7 months.

Education: Less Than 1 Year: Commercial driver's license is required. Most receive 4-8 months of training.
