Botany students will go on nature hikes in our "living library". They collect many items like leaves and other plant structures for research and identification in class. Students should always leave the forest in better condition than they found it! |

| A botanist is a biologist
who specializes in the study of plants.
There are different kinds of botanists. Some are interested in how plants interact with their environments (plant ecologists); others are interested in how plants grow (plant physiologists). I (web designer) am especially interested in how plants are related to each other. If you are interested in botany studies as well, then you will have lots of fun is this course. |
