New laws affect off-highway vehicle operators (2005-10-25)
A number of changes enacted by the 2005 Minnesota Legislature regulating off-highway vehicles (including all-terrain vehicles, off-highway motorcycles and 4x4 trucks) will affect those who own or operate them in Minnesota. It is important that riders take a moment to review these changes before heading out, according to the Department of Natural Resources officials, because many of these new provisions went into effect July 1.

We try to be an environmentally conscious club. We participate in highway litter pick up through Adopt-a-Highway and we plant thousands of trees each spring on public lands. We believe that we can share our environment with other users.
Our club Ride Coordinator puts on many excellent rides each year. If you want to ride, call him and get on his e-mail list. If you do not have e-mail, call him and ask when the next ride is.
Our club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at Gander Mountian on Haines Rd. at 7pm (unless noted otherwise).
We put out a newsletter about 4 times a year. In it you will find dates for highway litter pick up, tree planting, and special events. We try to send representatives from the club at DNR and other ATV related meeting. (We are always looking for volunteers to go to these meetings.)
Dues are payable every 12 months; If you join in June, you are not due until the following June. Please pay promptly when you receive your dues notice. We use your money to help defray costs for those members who go to out of town meetings to represent us.
Bring your member card to the ATV dealers and ask about our 10% discount on hard parts.
A number of our members are also members of ATVAM; (All Terrain Vehicle Association of Minnesota.) We encourage all our members to join this state organization. Benefits of joining ATVAM include, An ATV lobbyist in St. Paul, six free issues per year of Minnesota offroad magazine with information about upcoming rides, new ATV reviews, new products, news of other ATV and off road groups in Minnesota, and pending laws and legislation affecting our sport. The dues for ATVAM are only $20.00 per year. If you did not get a ATVAM brochure, email us and we will see that you get one.
If you wish to join Arrowhead ATV Club click the membership link and print the form and fill it out and send it in.
