How to Identify your Viking

The best way to identify your Viking, is by the data tag. The tag was attached to the sled
on the right side, where you put your right foot. It was either attached to the top or side of the
tunnel, or to the foot rest.

The first number in the model number, designated the year. If the number is 4, the sled is
a 1974, ie. 3 being a 1973 ect.. In mid. 1973 Viking started to stamp the serial number on the
tunnel, on the right side just below the rear bumper. This continued to the end. If the number is stamped
on the tunnel, the first number of the serial number is the year as well.

The next two numbers represented the model of the sled. The next list should sort this out.

The next 4 numbers represent the engine, size and model.
