Tisthammerw's BiosketchI suppose the most straightforward question people would have when coming to my website is, “Why use the nickname Tisthammerw?” In high school, I took a computer course and one day we learned about e-mail. When we set up our accounts at hotmail, my teacher advised our address to be our last name with our first initial at the end. My name being Wade Tisthammer, my address became tisthammerw@hotmail.com. I thought it would be a cool computer nickname, so it stuck. I am currently a software developer working in Minneapolis for a company called OATI. I started working at the company in 2007 while finishing my bachelor’s in computer science from the University of Minnesota. Philosophy has been an avocation of mine and I’ve since gone back to school to get a degree in it (since I’ve gone back I’ve aced every philosophy course so far, hopefully I’ll continue to do so!).
