"Oh come on, baby, stop," she sighed, "please. Ow that hurts!"

"It's almost out, I promise," he replied, "if I can just get it..."

"This was a big mistake. I should have never told you you can do this. You should've waited. Damn, it hurts!"

"Hey! It's not my fault you walked barefoot on my deck," he replied, "damn splinter."

"Justin, please, just, leave it in then, for God sakes!" Lindsay yelled.

"Almost...got...it..."

"Ouch!" she yelped from the pain.

"It's out," he held the rather large splinter up to her face, "want the memoir?"

"Um, no thanks," she answered, getting up, "but, thanks for helping me."

"Guys! C'mon! Dinner's here!" Chris yelled from the porch.

"Mmmhm. Food!" Justin smirked, getting up and wrapping his arm around Lindsay's waist, walking up the stairs in to the house.

"I swear to god you love food more than you love me."

"Who told you?" He joke as she slapped her slightly on his back. "I resent that." SHe said.

"Yeah but I don't get to kiss food." HE said as he gave her a sweet kiss.

"Did you see the look on his face when He was pointing at his fly!?" Chris laughed hysterically at dinner. "Priceless man."

"Well it wasn't so much that, but then he slips and falls on his ass!!" JC laughed. "I wish that would have been on video."

Chris, his girlfriend Danielle, Jc and his girlfriend Alex, Joey, Lance, Justin and Lindsay sat around eating their dinner in Chris's huge kitchen. Everyone, well was enjoying a couple days off their tour by spending it at Chris's new house. Well, Almost everyone. Justin had stay quiet through out the conversation of the tour.

"I dunno," Chris said as he took a drink of his water. "for some reason I can't wait for tour to start again. I need someplace to run." He said. "Right J?"

Justin looked up from his plate and said "Yeah. Feel the same way," He said qietly. "Exacto." HE then said sarcastically to himself. Lindsay gave him a strange look.

"Don't sound so enthused," Lance joked.

Justin looked up. "Sorry," He said defensivly and rolling his eyes. He got up from his chair and walked hastily up the stairs to the loft looking over the living room. Everyone went quiet, and then looked to Lindsay.

"Lemme go see what's wrong."

With that, she got up and walked up the stairs to him, massaging his shoulders.

"Justin," she whispered in to his ear, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing," he replied in the same tone.

"I know something's wrong. I've known you for for like, ever and I think I can tell when there's something wrong with my Busta Just. Now, come on. Tell me. Nothing stopped you before," she said, massaging his upper arms.

Justin winced. "It's nothing, Lin."

Lindsay felt hurt. She continued to rub his upper back and massage his shoulders.

"It's so bad you can't tell me?" She asked, giving him a gentle kiss on the cheek, then turning his head so he could look at her. "You tell me everything."

He sighed. "tour," he said

"Tour?" she asked "I thought you loved being on tour."

"I did when I wasn't leaving my girlfriend thousands of miles away from me." he replied.

Lindsay ran her fingers through his hair. "Justin you know I'll come to see you. All the time! ok? We're gonna see eachother alot. Even if I have a day off I'll fly out to see you."

"I know you will. I'm just getting so sick of this." He vented. "Things are too hectic even now. I wanna spend more of my time with you and not 50 million other girls. I'm...I'm thinking about leaving Nsync."

Nicole was shocked. "Ohhh." She said raising her eyebrows to her surprize. "I think I just heard 10 million girls collaps," She joked as he gave a light chuckle.

"well jus, this is your job, though, and a job you love, mind you. there's no way i'm letting you quit just for me."

"I know. I always feel like I owe the other guys. And it's just not tour in generall. I mean I'm not even gonna get so spend New Years Eve with you. I just...i don't wanna be in a huge arena with 60, million thousound sreaming girls when i could be someplace better with you."

"I know baby..." She sighed taking his head in her arms and kissing his hair. "I wanna be there as much as you want me to be there...And if there was a way I could get away from school I would and I will."

"I know. I feel like an ass cuz you've put up with all my crap. I just wanted to bring in the new year with you with me...together..alone. that's all."

"justin that's sweet of you to think. But come on, let's not worry over that yet. It's a couple weeks away yet. I love you and I hate seeing oyu like this."

Justin leaned in to give her a kiss, and then hugged her. "I love you Lin."

The two walked back into the kitchen and everyone went quiet, and looked at them as they sat down.

"What are y'all looking at??" Justin said in a pissed-off tone.

Chris cleared his throat. "Anyway next time we should like throw joey into the crowd or somethign..."

Lindsay felt a light squeez on her thigh and looked to Justin, and nodded her head.

"Anyway, Lin, when are we gonna meet youjr college friends?" Alex asked her.

Lindsay slid her hand down to her thigh and put hers on top of Justin, holding it.
Umm well their supposivly getting in tonight..But I'll probably go over to Chad's house tommorrow to see what's up there." She replied before taking a drink of her soda.

"Chad?" Justin asked

"Yeah," She said before she ate some of her rice-a-roni. "You know chad, and Kara, and Katlin and Mike. Their staying at Chad's house for a few days, and then going to Kara's in Arizona." She said. "I can't wait for you guys to meet them."
