Z Fighters

Gokuu /
Gokuu is one of the strongest fighters (usually the best fighter you ever have) in the game, and is only playable at certain points in the game. He is a Saiya-jin so if he is fully healed in battle when at 4 HP or below he will gain a level.

Gokuu / BP-4,999,999
Gokuu as a Super Saiya-jin. When Freezer kills one of the fighters in the final battle Gokuu will become enraged and turn Super Saiya-jin. Two of his Ki techniques (Kaiouken and Genkidama) are then disabled.

Pikkoro (Piccolo) /
Piccolo is a strong fighter who becomes very strong around the end of the game when he fuses with Nail. Like Gokuu he isn't around for a lot of the fighing in game but is around more then Gokuu.

Gohan /
Gohan is a strong fighter who is around for the majority of the game. If Gohan is beaten in battle the game ends. He is half Saiya-jin so if he is fully healed in battle when at 4 HP or below he will gain a level.

Tenshinhan /
Tenshinhan is the fourth weakest of the Z fighters. He is around for most of the game and can be killed without the game ending. Tenshinhan has many ki techniques which are quite powerful.

Kuririn(Kulilin) /
Kulilin is the third weakest of the Z fighters. He is around for most of the game and can be killed without the game ending. His Kakusan EnergyHa damages a group of enemies instead of one like most fighters.

Yamucha /
Yamucha is the second weakest of the Z fighters. He is around for most of the game and can be killed without the game ending. Yamucha's Soukidan attack can't be dodged because it follows the enemy to ensure a hit.

Chaozu /
Chaozu is the weakest fighter.He is around for most of the game and can be killed without ending the game. Chaozu is weak and not helpful against bosses because he is easily beaten. The only real use for him is letting him die so Gokuu becomes Super Saiyan in the fight against Freezer.

Bejiita (Vegeta) /
Vegeta is a very strong fighter. He joins you late in the game and if beaten it will change the ending. Vegeta randomly chooses not to fight in battle, and sometimes will attack enemies that run away. He is a Saiya-jin so if he is fully healed in battle when at 4 HP or below he will gain a level.

Neiru (Nail) / BP-42000
Nail is playable only twice in the game, both for a very short time. You get him after defeating his split form in the cave leading to the eldest Namek. Nail leaves your party after you exit the eldest Namek's house. The second time is where he fights Freezer and is easily defeated. He later fuses with Piccolo (if you can find him), greatly increasing Piccolo's BP.

Maiima / BP-3300

Maiima is playable for one part of the game. He will join you with Tsumurii, and if you are at a low level they will be helpful to you in battle. He will either leave your party or be beaten in battle by enemies. You must have Dende or Cargo to have him join your party otherwise he and Tsumurii will fight you and killing them end the game. Maiima and Tsumurii will offer to fuse with Piccolo later in the game.

Tsumurii / BP-3200
Tsumurii is playable for one part of the game. He will either leave your party or be beaten in battle by enemies. You must have Dende or Cargo to have him join your party. Tsumurii and Maiima will offer to fuse with Piccolo later in the game.

Dende / BP-10Karugo (Cargo) /

Dende and Cargo never actually fight but Dende can be hurt or killed. If Dende dies the game ends. Although enemies can't attack him, bombs in pods and in holes in walls can hurt him when searched. If Dende is hurt it is best to heal him. At level 3 Dende can use his special healing ability "Tatakaemasen" but only after getting the power boost from the elder Namek. Dende is automatically killed (if you have him) by Freezer when he transforms to his final form.
