![]() ![]() ![]() During the winter, our Wolf den (grade 2) challenged our Bear den (grade 3) to a basketball scrimage. It wasn't pretty, but it was fun and we had free ice cream afterwards. | |||
![]() Our pack meetings are held at Guardian Angels church, in Oakdale MN. We meet once a month to share activities, information and fun. Here is our wolf den doing a skit where mad scientists confuse making a rabbit with making a robot. | |||
![]() This is the food we collected for a local food shelf, over 200 lbs. worth. | |||
![]() ![]() ![]() Most of our scouts attend Skyview Community school in Oakdale. It is a new school and volunteers were requested to help spread chips on the nature trail. Many of our scouts helped both spreading chips and cooking up snacks afterwards to feed the volunteers. Parents, teachers and scouts all pitched in for a successful day of work. | |||
![]() ![]() ![]() Pack 817's annual entry in the Oakdale Summerfest Parade was a lifesize pinewood derby race, with each den creating their own. | |||
Some scouts took a lesson from the Boy Scouts in Troop 817 and built a teepee. | |||
![]() Our Bear den (grade 3) visited a local nature center for a hike through a snow-covered swamp, a lesson about the phases of the moon, and some hot chocolate. | |||
