In Jury

know i don’t about why they did it to my wonder people dried out my liberal body i wouldn’t have done the weird dry damage to anyone once done i find it’s an intricate system of costs i twice stopped still to decide how much permanence to use in response i couldn’t feel the first healing in my comfortable secret but they will know all once the surprise pierces them to feel like another

I insert myself into the middle of the layers of the world, in order to prepare myself for sleep, so dreams may visit in adequate detail and be lost by morning-- saved in the folds of my bed sheets.

Socks

I walk past wearing my "I love you" just above my soul inside my shoe elusively panted by the cuffs that keep you from seeing what I mean.

My lips long
to fit their
counterpart,
but yet both sets
tend not to feel--
satisfaction enjoyed
would be forsaken
in numbness.

for sound proof rooms
steals my ear
as I struggle
to regain it
my composure
sneaks out
the back door
and I am left
forsaken in this
absurd world
