| "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty, to see the best in others; to leave the world a little better; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |

9/3/3 I figured it was about time for another update, since I haven't updated in a LONG time. I'm still living at home...and beginning to save up some money. I hope to have enough for one month's rent and a damage deposit, should I ever find any good opportunity to move out. It's not looking hopeful right now. But at least I've come to enjoy my family's company, becuase they're usually not home at the same time I am anyway.
As for work, I'm still at Walmart 1470. I'm still a support manager. Now, I've taken on being Ladies' wear department manager. It's a new challenge to keep me occupied. I'm liking it. I finally have a place to call my own. I've been in this position about a month now. I still have a lot to learn. I'm thinking of getting involved in the Christian Community Outreach Center in town so I have some place to use my teaching interests/skills. It's hard to not be in school for me. This is my first semester without any credits. It just feels kind of empty. I'll probably take a class next spring if my boredom level stays this high. I finally finished my philosophy textbook from the class I took last spring. It felt really good to finish it. No doubt I have many things lined up right behind it. It's just deciding which to pursue. I"m thinking of studying poetry for a while. I've kind of come away from it since my poetry class last...er...two years ago!!! But it's still a major interest of mine.
*Don't swallow the liquid thinner or worms will be the machine that makes you so.
*The thief steals my time from beneath its hands, but yet it is also the officer that handcuffs me to the very thing that it is taking!
*The public eye wears 3D glasses and when it sees an individual's assumptions, it digests them as truths and spreads them like rumors.
*Pay me with silence and you have purchased my words.
*Confidence is beautiful!
*Rejoice in rejection for it will give you strength!
*I steal a glance across the room --yes, it is stolen for I didn't feel that it was mine to take but yet I took it anyway-- and reward
my eyes with heart-leaping pleasure for taking such a risk: the risk of being met by the eyes of those whose glance I stole!
*We all live in the little casualties.
*The strongest barriers are those that come from within; Although, the barriers from within are built by the chemistry of an individual with his or her environment.
*Be careful not to dine on assumptions. They can devour you from the inside out.
*Speak bluntly but carry sharp words.
*Ignorance can be a gift.
*Expect the best and the worst and you'll not get either.
*It continues, though the night falls and the day breaks.
