The Pillsbury center is the glass and
stone version of the unattractive girl with the great personality. The
exterior is redeemed only by the trapezoidal shapes of the towers, which
give the pair a unique spatial relationship. Otherwise, they're
ugly and boring. The interior of the building is very well done.
It helps in no small amount that the architects had a full city block to
work with. The space feels very busy and urban, yet
comfortable. |
