The
Foshay tower is the antithesis of
Minneapolis' most recent crop of office towers. Here, we have a
building that is tall just for the sake of being tall, to satisfy the
ego of one man. It was the tallest building in town for over
forty years. When all if the new construction is completed, it
will rank 16th. On the upper floors, about half of the space is
consumed by the guts of the building - elevators, hallways,
stairwells, and rest rooms. The offices are tiny. If I
ever own a small business, this will be my home.
