Blake Gardner lives as though his life is a movie and that he has an audience constantly watching. Now, without a job, money or even a girlfriend, he's finding it a challenge to keep us, his audience, entertained.

MarVista FRAME OF MIND trailer
Thank you to billysoffhismeds: MarVista is going to release the film under the title FRAME OF MIND. As for USA and Canada, the film will remain titled THE MOVIE HERO, and will be distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment.
Here's something I didn't know: Director Brad Gottfred wrote a novel which is the prequel of THE MOVIE HERO. It is called THE HEART EATING HUMANS OF HOLLYWOOD and it describes how Blake Gardner journeys to Hollywood, CA to make it in the movies. The book is available at Amazon.com or Barnes And Noble.com. Gottfred also has his own official site with info about THE MOVIE HERO, THE HEART EATING HUMANS, and his other filmed and written work.
December 2005: An independent distribution company called The Spiritual Cinema Circle puts together and releases collections of short and feature length films that have been hard to find mainstream distribution for, mainly because their content doesn't fit in with traditional mainstream norms. Along with a few short domestic and foreign indies, each DVD in their collection has a feature length picture. On Volume 6 of their 2005 collection is THE MOVIE HERO.
The Spiritual Cinema Circle was founded by movie producer Steven Simon (WHAT DREAMS MAY COME) and operates on a philosophy that many film lovers would like more than just action packed adrenaline and stunts in what they watch, that many of us feel that mainstream movies are lacking in real entertainment value.
