KNITPICKERS
Pick My Knits!!!

Finally we are seeing signs of spring in Northern Minnesota. The Robins are back and instead of snow we are getting rain.

Darling Hubby made me a beautiful beading loom. I have been working on that everyday since he gave it to me. My first project was this beaded bag.

I used inexpensive seed beads so it isn't as uniform as I would like. But I am still thrilled with the results.

So on to my second project. This time I am using a better quality bead, and also a larger size. Size "8" seems to fit the warp perfectly. I took various cross stitch designs and created a sampler to hang on the wall. Hubby will be in charge of the framse.

If you have ever wanted to give beading on a large loom a try.Hubby would be happy to make you a loom. Just drop us a line for pricing. Here is a picture of the loom. You can see he really put a lot of love in to it.

I also had to give felting a try. I needed a hat for winter, and think the felted wool will make a warm and toasty hat. So here is my first attempt at felting.I think it turned out pretty cute.

I bought a pattern that was designed by "Fibertrends".I see they have a website at
www.fibertrends.com

And as always I have been knitting on my machine, knitting for consignment, and knitting in my sleep.
