Soccer

10/7/02: This comes 2 days late, but oh, well. The Alex JH soccer boys pulled off another sucessful tournament. This 8 team tournament was played season style. Alex had two teams, and both did well. Alex 1 lost their first game to top-ranked St. Cloud South 1 2 to 1 (not bad considering they beat the Alex team last year 9-0) and then won the next two vs. St. Cloud North (6-0) and Brooton, I think(5-0). As we approach the end of the season (it's pathetically short) we have only lost one game. Go Alex!!! -JAD

9/21/02: The Alexandria 7th/8th grade boys swept their first tournament of the season today with a triple shutout. Although it was a small tournament with only 4 teams, it was a blast. The scores, in chronological order, are Game 1:Alexandria-1,Fergus Falls-0; Game 2:Alexandria-6, Brainerd-2; Game 3:Alexandria-2,Minewaska-0. Good start to the season, Alex! -JAD

 

Running

9/30/02: OK, so forget everything I had posted here the past 2 months. I didn't even run the 5k. I wanted to, but my parents didn't want to wake up at 5:00 a.m. so they talked me out of it. I'll probably run the Reindeer Run '02, instead, though. -JAD

 

Swimming

1/14/03: We've had two meets and I haven't reported on either (sorry!). I've been a little behind on my internet work lately-really bogged down with other stuff. Anyway, we have one tonight and I'll try to get a report out there for you. Ciao! -JAD

12/17/02: Well, the school season is finally under way...the first meet is Thursday (actually, we were supposed to have had one last Friday, but the hosting team backed out the day prior. Go figure.) We have an extremely talented team this year which will do well in the confrence. Especially the divers, of which I am one, look to have a lot of promise if the coaches do their jobs. Anyway, I'll get those times posted as soon as I can after the meet. Peace out! -JAD
